Wingers (Petaurus wingeri) are a species of gliding possum, classified as a Water Type Dynamon. They are covered in blue fur with cream-colored markings along the face, inside the ears, and on a swirl of fur on their chest, which may potentially also be the location of their marsupium pouch. Their snout is tan and their eyes are large and usually the sclera is hidden from view because of the large pupil, indicating nocturnal habitation.

Etymology[]

The name "Winger" is a reference to its patagium, the membrane of skin that acts as a gliding wing for gliding creatures, often misidentified as giving such creatures the power of flight instead of the power of gliding.

Notes[]

  • As Dynamon is a franchise heavily attempting to cash in on the Pokémon craze, Winger is seemingly based on Emolga, though Emolga is a flying squirrel and Winger appears to be a sugar glider.
