Wendigos are incredibly intelligent tall and lanky humanoids capable of moving so fast it cannot be seen through normal means. They are known to be able to perfectly mimic human speech. They are magical creatures by nature and are therefore unable to cross magical circles of protection, although they are not beyond trying to draw potential victims out into danger.
All Wendigos were originally humans who, through whatever circumstances, resorted to consuming human flesh via cannibalism, continuing doing so to the point of eventually losing all of their humanity in a similarity to a Ghoul.
