Wendigos (/ˈwɛndɪɡoʊ/) (Homocervus wendigo) are humanoid creatures with deer antlers. They are very manipulative and can cause ordinary people kill others and eat them. The most famous encounter was that of a man named Swift Runner. In the winter of 1878, he and his family were starving, and his eldest son died. He ended up killing and eating his wife and his other five children.
