"Voriplasm. Big word. It'll strip you to the bone by the second syllable."
— Shehs the Argonian, The Argonian Account, Book IV

Voriplasm is a species of amorphous, non-sapient ooze which inhabit the Imperial province of Black Marsh on the continent of Tamriel, on the planet Nirn. They are green in hue and take the consistency of slime that could be found mostly in the water, though it is capable of terrestrial travel as well. Adventurers through the Black Marsh must be very cautious, as the land itself seems to want to kill them -- the Voriplasm is no exception to this rule in any sense. For one, their very physiology makes them easy to mistake for other materiel, such as pond scum, unless one pays close enough attention. Although they were not swift on land, they could move with surprising speed through the water to overtake their prey. They are incredibly acidic in nature, on par with a Blob, and almost as quickly as they engulf a victim, they will be ejecting its bones as they continue on in search of their next meal.
