The Sun Birds of Alinor were large birds "made out of the Sun"—this likely means that they were created using plasma, and may or may not have actually been created from essence of Nirn's local star.
Traveling alongside the Reman Dynasty during the Merethic Era, they made expeditions to Aetherius and created the Great Orrery of Firsthold, which would become their only legacy. Unfortunately, they were eventually dissolved due to the untenable expenditures necessary to produce magic via magicka.
