R Slugs (as they are known here on All Species) are a species of giant slugs closely related to the much less common Rock Slug. They have extremely sticky slime. When under duress, they will use this slime to slow down potential predators before attempting to subdue them.
They are found on Planet R, but are interesting as they appear in only the Merged World; it is unknown what this may indicate, if anything. They can be found in the wilderness surrounding the Castle of Bal, as well as the settlements of Crescent, Jachol, Moore, and Quelb. Those on Crescent are likely to eventually become a new species as they are segregated on an island.
Their dietary habits are not known but they presumably feed upon detritus and maybe local vegetation. Despite their wide range of habitats, and considering other species in the area they are most likely predated upon by Gloom Widows, which cover the same general range.
