A Sleepy (ウッパ Uppa - "Wooper") is a species of frog found in the Tidal Caves of Rhapala region. It is related to and the potential ancestor of the Hopper.
Sleepies could inaccurately be labeled cannibalistic, as they prey on other species of frog—most notably or even exclusively upon Fat Frogs. They also are very protective of their offspring, with baby frogs commonly being found in their presence.
When pressed, a Hopper is capable of hypnotizing its prey, perhaps sharing a genetic relationship with either the Dnyarri or the Hypnotoad, if not both. However they also seem to be prone to narcolepsy as they have been recorded to "fall asleep" during battle.
