The Royal Koopa, or Bowser (Koopa royalis) is a Strange & Unique Dinosaur & Lizard-Like type of Koopa with characteristics not seen in any other species, including fire breath, even in Juveniles and hatchings, and seem to be able to understand the hiccup-like audio of Koopa Troopas without the aid of the Fourth Wall[1].
Physiology[]
These Koopas are large, typically seen in arid badlands or sometimes, even volcanoes, but not all of them are involved in royalty despite being exothermal. In non-royal members, the more prosperous ones complete their metamorphosis while the ones in the working class (and lower) usually don’t (but not always) go past juveniles (like Felix Grey[2], and mature (both sexually and mentally) with a juvenile-like body.
There is a misconception on whether having an open or closed plastron with their shell on means you’re a separate species or not, since Boom Booms and Unusaul Dinosaur-Koopas look so similar that they could easily be the same species. Recent research has indicated that they are indeed the same species despite what others say. However, spiked shells are implied to have evolved twice independently in Spinies and Royal Koopas since they are apparently able to produce fertile offspring with Koopa Troopas.
Diet[]
Their diet is mostly carnivorous, consisting of Meat from various species, including the traditional Beef, Pork, Mutton, Chicken; traditional seafood like Salmon, Tuna, crabs, and lobsters, as well as (maybe) more out-of-place meats like fried Tadpoles (much to Wart’s chargin (Wart himself is an American Bullfrog)), giant juicy spiders, beetles, lizards, worms, bears, and even certain types of Coral Reef fish that humans wouldn’t think of eating (Moray Eels, Clownfish, and Triggerfish). The general rule is that if it’s small (or not in the case of bears, they just found them tasty, unlike humans) and inedible, regardless of behavior, they usually fear it. Poisonous fish like Puffers and Lionfish, as well as Poison Dart Frogs fall victim to this as consumption usually leads to poisoning.

Trivia[]
- The presence (or more likely, the development) of horns seems to be determined by genes, as Bowser and Bowser Jr. have horns, but the Koopalings (Lemmy, Larry, Wendy, Ludwig, Morton, Roy, and Iggy) and various Fanon members don't.
- Koopa Troopas, Lakitus, and Royal Koopas probably descended from a common ancestor (the Shellcreeper) that evolved bipedalism for quicker locomotion.
- Their genus, "Dracupa" is a portmanteau of "Draco" (dragon) and "Cupa" (koopa), alluding to their seemingly draconic nature.
