The common rancor, better known as the "Rancor" is a semi-sapient species of reptile native to a planet known as "Dathomir", located in the star system of the same name, of the Quelii sector, of the Star Wars galaxy.
Biology[]
They're identifiable by their brown color, sharp teeth, flat nose, clawed hands, and four fingers on each hand.
Reproduction[]
Unlike most reptiles, Rancors give live birth.
Diet[]
They are carnivores, and as such, eat meat.

- While they are violent creatures, they can be domesticated, mostly by Hutts.
