Status Critically endangered or extinct

Radishes are a species of ghoul carrot endemic to an uknown area of the Mushroom Kingdom. They are very closely related to the Carroboscis.

Physiology

Despite being tough opponents and with a physical form that would appear otherwise juicy, their bodies can be crushed under foot and is highly susceptible to fire.

Unlike their more capable Carroboscis cousins, they are incapable of magical abilities, with the exception of their capability of hovering in the air.

Behavior

They are seemingly very territorial towards their own kind and are never known to be seen in one another's presence. Instead they have formed a symbiotic relationship with the local species and a few other species and will fight for their cause. However they are only aggressive when among these other species and do not attack adventurers on their own. They attack physically by leaping into the air and flashing their green eyes, which somehow causes injury to their foes.

Etymology

Their name is a reference to radishes, and likely specifically intended to reference daikon radishes.
