Prejek Paddle Fish (Chaetodon prejak) are a species of butterflyfish that were occasionally seen as an expensive aquarium fish between the years 2185 and 2186.

In 2185, Commander Shepard was able to purchase a single Prejek Paddle Fish at an asari gift shop on the planet Ilium at a premium price. In 2186, if Shepard had saved Kelly Chambers, she will have rescued the fish, which has since given birth to two new members of the species.

- Though they are named seemingly in reference to paddlefishes (Family Polyodontidae), they are actually designed to be a butterflyfish.
