Description[]
The Phoenix is a mythological bird associated with Greek folklore and Egyptian legends. It is a large or small bird that may come in different varieties based upon different real-life bird species depending on which culture or country it is being described from, but almost always is said to have the ability or rebirth, is mostly red and golden, and is abound in eternal flames.
Origins[]
Herodotus, during 5th century BC, had written that the Egyptians in particular originated the Phoenix[1]. This heavily contrasts the popular belief that the Phoenix sprouted from Greek folklore and mythology. However, what remains original throughout every version is that it rebirths from the ashes of its predecessor.
Biology[]
The Phoenix is striking red, orange, and gold, usually depicted with flames burning upon every spot of its body.
