The Mutant zombie (Minecrafthomo zombifidus mutantes) is a species of zombie, created when one is exposed to chemical X. They are much larger and stronger than their normal counterparts and have stages upon death. Their ability to reproduce unique offspring solidifies their species status.

They have a more hulk-like body (Homo sapiens masvirdis) than normal zombies, and a wider attack range. They reproduce by spawning zombie minions during a fight, and go in different stages until defeated.
