The Minotaur (Homobos minotaurus) is a particularly famous monster originating from Greek mythology.
Origin[]
According to the myth, the Minotaur (named Asterius, or Asterion) was conceived by the white bull, and Pasiphaë. Resulting the birth of a human-bull hybrid. Of course, we now know this would be biologically impossible, unless in a cartoon or something.
Biology[]
The beast was originally imagined as simply a bull-head man with a tail, but the depiction that's currently in vogue also includes bull legs. Even with varying amounts of body hair.
