Megaprimatus Kong, also known as "Titanus Kong", or simply "Kong", is a prehistoric giant ape that originated from Skull Island of the King Kong universe. It is sometimes merely considered a giant gorilla, but it is actually a different, but still related, species. It is best known for an incident in New York City, involving one carrying the lovely Ann Darrow to the top of the Empire State Building.

Biology[]

They physically resemble the modern-day gorilla, but can grow up to 25 feet in height.

Notes[]

  • It's believed to have descended from Gigantopithecus, however that genus is more closely related to the orangutan than the gorilla.
