The Lizardmen are an ancient, prehistoric race indigenous to the swamps of Teleria.
Background history[]
The Lizardmen evolved from the brackish waters of Teleria long before modern humanoid races emerged with more powerful brains. These fearsome amphibious bipeds have been deemed untouchable but are tolerated in swamps and city sewers. They trade through messengers to get sustenance, or ransom for their captives.
Domestication[]
They have domesticated two species of dragons—Drakes and the more powerful and rare Dracomorphs. They also have convinced undead Death Hounds to work with them, probably indicating some level of necromantic knowledge on their part.
Lizardman Types[]
There appear to be several species of Lizardmen that work together as a collective group.
Flingers[]
Flingers are a rare breed of Lizardmen with few defining traits. They stand with a slightly hunched posture and are covered in heavy scales. They have sharp claws on their hands of average length. Unlike the more common Troglodytes, they have spines on their jaws and their eyes are set further back on their skull. Their mouths are full of sharp teeth that jut out of their mouths at odd angles.

Gators[]
Gators are a rare breed of Lizardmen defined by their overweight appearance. They have a short, blunt head and a large throat sac. Their mouths are small and filled with many, dagger-like teeth. Unlike other breeds, they have plantigrade legs and lack tails of any sort.

Sauruses[]
Sauruses are an uncommon breed that have a hunched posture and long, sharp claws. Their backs are covered in short spines while long spines emerge from their elbows. The most defining feature of the species is their face, which has had most of the skin and scales replaced with ossified bone structure. They maybe led by Jizoh, a large albino champion, or Rhazin Scarhide.

- Skullsworn
- Stalker
Skinners[]
Skinners are an uncommon breed that have an upright posture and sharp claws of average length. They have a more crocodilian appearance with a long, narrow snout. They have a fin extending over their back and another smaller but longer one extending down their tail.
- Bogwalker
- Metalshaper
- Skinner
Slashers[]
Slashers are a rare breed that are larger than other types of Lizardmen. They are covered in heavy scales and thick, hard spines that extend down their back and tail. They have short beaks filled with sharp teeth but often wear the skeletal jaws of other creatures strapped to their head for a more menacing appearance. They may be led by Jarang or Fu-Shan.

Troglodytes[]
Troglodytes are the most common of the Lizardmen species. They have an upright posture and sharp claws of average length. Their backs and tail are covered in long spines and they have forward-jutting teeth on their lower mandible.
