Jovians are a species of transhuman that were designed by the Great Solar Empire to inhabit Jupiter's less habitable moons. These physical changes were the removal of hair, replacement of melanin with a radiation resistant yellow pigment, and enhancement of agility. On the mental terms, they are identical to humans with the exception of their superior intelligence.
Jovian society is authoritarian, inclined to towards valuing the display of dominance and personal use to society. Jovians exclusively use Lodny-series exo-armor, described as holding "a similar motif of close-fitting slabs of curving armor and a prominent gorget-like protector on the neck".
