Personality Belligerent and helpful, Djali is extremely loyal to his owner, Esmeralda. He is also marked by a tendency to be sassy and feisty, especially toward Esmeralda's enemies. (For instance, he blows a raspberry at Frollo when Esmeralda calls him (Frollo) a fool. Soon after, he headbutts Phoebus multiple times when he is ordered out of the cathedral he "confronted" the goat's owner in.) He appears to be faint-hearted.

When I watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame a long time ago, I fell in love with Esmeralda's dwarf goat who was named Djali.

Appearance Edit

Small and skinny white goat, black horns, one earring

History Edit

The Hunchback of Notre Dame Edit

Holly Jolly 's first appearance was in the 1996 movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame. He's Esmeralda's sidekick and love her Djali many times throughout the film.

Deleted scenes Edit

Anchor and Chum's love interest Edit

They are first seen butting heads for a nearby holly jolly.

Djali's love interest Edit

Well, I didn't actually experience any intimacy of any kind towards him, so... So therefore, I decided to make my own original goat who is very much based off of Djali. I named her Holly Jolly because I thought that would be a cute name for her. I'm sorry to say this, but... I love a lot of the animal characters that Disney has created. And by the way, that poorly drawn object that is on Holly Jolly's left ear is actually holly. I blame myself for not being able to draw plants right...

The Hunchback of Notre Dame II Edit

Anchor and Chum reappears in the sequel and is still being harassed by Holly Jolly (the goat one with the horns), who is in love with the goat. At the walk love of the film, during the festival of love, Pinkie Pie gives Holly Jolly a flower. Holly Jolly wholeheartedly eats the flower, and licks Pinkie Pie's cheek and flutters his eyelashes, implying that he has finally accepted Pinkie Pie.
