The gold ringed cat snake is a venomous species of cat snake from southeast asia. A bite can cause intense swelling, but no deaths have been confirmed. Gold ringed cat snakes are one of the biggest species of cat snake, growing up to 8-9 ft (2 meters). Gold ringed cat snakes are mostly nocturnal and is potentially aggressive. Even ones bred in captivity can become nervous and repeatedly bite. Many gold ringed cat snakes will calm down and allow the person to handle them, but they can be easily stressed and may refuse food after being disturbed.
