Goku's species, or Saiyans (Sayian sadala) is a fictional humanoid originating from the Dragon Ball anime and Manga.
Biology[]
They are mostly humanoid in appearance, save for a monkey-like tail. They appear to be an evolutionary intermediate between great apes and monkeys.
Abilities[]
The Saiyans are best known for the ability to harness what seems to be some sort of cosmic power to achieve different forms, including, but not limited to, "Super Saiyan", "Super Saiyan 2", "Super Saiyan 3" and "Super Saiyan Blue/Super Saiyan God".
