Furbies are these penguin-like creatures from the Furby universe. Like Mogwai, they are legal to own as pets despite their sapience. Although it's possible they use their cute appearance to mooch off humans, similar to Frog-dogs, only the latter being more about being seemingly dumb, rather than cuteness.
Biology[]
They have the appearance of a cross between a penguin and a koala. They are oviparous, and seem to be able to eat any food. Many have taken the fact they have front-facing eyes to mean they are predators, of course this could just mean they have no natural predators. They have two legs, but no arms, so to make up for this, they evolved prehensile ears. The logistics of this being highly questionable, as it would imply their ears have some kind of hand or finger-like bones.
