Foul Wyverns are a large, unnatural subspecies of Ashan Wyverns, which are indigenous to the eastern regions of Ashan. Unlike many kinds of Wyverns, this breed poisons its foes with its breath as opposed to a scorpion-like tail. Like regular Ashan Wyverns, they are capable of regeneration.
Occasionally, shamans of the Eastern Strongholds will collect the freshly hatched offspring of the Wyverns and place them on a special diet, which prompts them to grow poison glands. In battle, the venomous breath of the Foul Wyvern can inflict great suffering on the enemy, while its regeneration ability makes it virtually indestructible.
