Demons are known to come in multiple shapes and sizes, though their most common form (at least, the one currently in vogue) is that of a horned humanoid, often with a barbed tail, and sometimes bat or dragon wings. They are often depicted as being unable to be harmed by conventional weapons or objects, and can usually only be destroyed by holy water, or weapons forged by God.
