The Cyberdemons (Furvuseques nobilis) (also known as Harbingers, Hell Tyrants, Steam Demons, Tyrants) is a species of Dark Knight demon indigenous to the confines of Hell, closely related to both the Hell Knights and Barons of Hell. Although the species is never given a proper name, they are best known by their rank in the armies of Hell, though they are not the only demonic race to hold this rank. They are, however, the best-known race to hold this rank. Another genetically unrelated demonic race to fill the rank of Cyberdemon is the split-jawed Baalgar.
Physiology[]
This species of Cyberdemon are roughly 20ft tall, and are very muscular. They have a minotaur-like heads with black, beady eyes set far aparet and a pair of dark gray horns growing outwards and forward from the temples. Most members have tan skin, though older members (or perhaps an alternative subspecies) have brown skin; ultimately their skin becomes more reddish in tone. It appears that as they get older they gain more features, with typical Cyberdemons having a flat face and no pronounced nose structure; eventually their facial structure extending out slightly first to give a more bovine-shaped head and canine-like face, and then later growing a tail. They have cloven hooves for feet and walk like a typical ungulate. However unlike most ungulates, the Cyberdemons possess a complement of razor-sharp teeth.
They are not born with their cybernetic implants and instead this is Human tech integrated into their systems to make them even more dangerous, following the fate of their comrade, the Harbinger of Doom less likely due to solidarity and more likely from simply noticing his improved destructive power. These enhancements are known to be placed on the arms, legs, spine, head, and within the exposed viscera, though not all members utilize the same enhancements.
They are often considered to be some of the most powerful and formidable soldiers of Hell's armies and might grow more intelligent as they get older, though this is perhaps due to combat experience. Certain members are known to lead their shots, firing their third rockets at their opponent's anticipated position instead of where they currently are.
