Crobat is a fictional four-winged purple bat that originated from the Pokémon universe. It is the evolved form of Golbat.
Biology[]
Crobat appears as a purple, four-winged bat with a small, round body. It sports two long, pointed ears, yellow eyes with red pupils, and a small mouth that usually shows its teeth. Its upper wings are larger than its lower wings which formed from its hind legs. All four wings have green-blue membranes, the lower pair's membranes can only be seen from behind. The upper wings sport two claw-like fingers near the middle. On the bottom part of its body are what appear to be two stubby feet or fur tufts.
Crobat is capable of long-distance flying by alternating between its two pairs of wings. The additional pair of wings have improved its flight speed without sacrificing its ability of silent flight. Crobat can also fly through cramped caves without needing to slow down. Its combination of silent flight and sharp teeth allow it to bite down on prey unnoticed and drink their blood. If Crobat cannot drink blood, it will become lethargic and unable to fly. Due to its lack of legs, it's clumsy on the ground and is only able to crawl around with its wings. Crobat is rarely spotted in the wild, though they can be found in caves or tree branches, where they hang upside down using their hind wings.
