The Creeposaurid (Creeposaurus logdotzipi) is a species of ancient, extinct maniraptor formerly indigenous to the Minecraft World. Although they are extinct, some efforts have been put forth that will bring the creatures back to life, though doing so is considered to be a particularly dangerous task.

EtymologyEdit

Their name is a portmanteau of the words "Creeper", due to their physical similarities to the infamous plant monsters that roam the modern Minecraft World and are often considered to be the bane of mankind's existence; and "Dromaeosaurid", given their relation to these maniraptorans.

Their specific name refers to their discoverer, Logdotzip.

PhysiologyEdit

Despite their name, they have no genetic relation to Creepers, which are in fact mobile moss. Instead they are named after their similar coloration, facial features, and explosive tendencies.

Their skin is very thick and can only legitimately be penetrated by way of explosive items such as boxes of TNT. Despite this, they are hardy beings and can continue to pursue a target after taking a blast. It takes may boxes of TNT to hope to kill this creature.
