Countryballs (Duosoculos familiaris) are a race of sapient spherical organisms originating from the webcomic series of the same name.

Appearance[]

They resemble imperfect spheres with featureless eyes and their skin is based on the flags certain countries, subdivisions, and cities. They do not have mouths, ears, or noses.

Biology[]

Despite not having mouths, countryballs are able to communicate with one another, and consume food and drink. Their communication may be telepathic, and the way they consume food may be by absorbing it. Countryballs can also pick things up, despite not having limbs. Sometimes, countryballs can be ripped in half without killing it (for example: Franciaball, Koreaball, Third Reichtangle, etcetera). Countryballs have also been theorized to be like large unicellular organisms with cell membranes and the ability to do mitosis and meiosis.
