All Species Wiki

Sapient species are highly intelligent species that are capable of advanced thought and by extension, wisdom: The ability to think and act with knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense, and insight. Wisdom is associated with attributes such as unbiased judgment, compassion, experiential self-knowledge, self-transcendence and non-attachment, and virtues such as ethics and benevolence. Creatures considered to be on the cusp of sapience are considered to be semi-sapient. This should not be confused with sentience!
