Anthochorans (Superphylum Anthchora) are a fan-made term used here on All Species Wiki to describe flower-producing, plant-equivalent lifeforms seen within No Man's Sky. Any plant-equivalents that produce flowers in-game whether by appearance or within their description belong to this superphylum. In-game, this includes any flora with notes specifying delicate flowers, flowers once, inconsistent blossom, inedible petals, infrequent flowering, and shadow petals. By extension, it may also include flora that are stated as producing fruit with notes such as combustible fruit, crepuscular fruit, durable fruit, sentient fruit, stinging fruit, unripe fruit, unstable fruit, and waxy fruit.
All users are welcome to use this classification for their species found in-game (or lore-created) if they fit the necessary physical attributes described.
