Eumetazoa, also known as Epitheliozoa or Histozoa, is a proposed basal animal subkingdom as a sister group to Porifera. It contains Ctenophora, ParaHoxozoa, the extinct Chancelloriidae, and possibly Petalonamae and Trilobozoa, which are both groups of extinct Ediacaran lifeforms.
