The Cape Melville Leaf-tailed Gecko, also known as the Cape Melville shade skink (Saproscincus saltus), is a species of lizard from the mountain rainforests along Cape York Peninsula of North Queensland, Australia. The lizards are active by day, running and jumping through the mossy boulder fields of their home range.
