The bunyip (Kianpraty austrodiabolus), also called "kianpraty" is a legendary monotreme originating from Australian mythology.

Biology[]

While it superficially resembles an otter, it is actually a monotreme, as revealed by the sighting of bunyip eggs in platypus nests.
