Bagnadragnas, also known as Bug Dragons (Bagunadorana coreli) are a species of true basilisks indigenous to Mt. Corel on the planet Gaia. Several have come into the ownership of the Gold Saucer Battle Square.

Physiology[]

Bagnadragnas walk using a semi-erect posture on six legs that end in feet with four toes each, ending in long, sharp claws. They keep their heads lifted high and their tails curl over the body.

Bagnadragnas are aggressive creatures, like most Basilisks and use their horn to attack unwary victims. They are capable of breathing poisonous mist as well, likely naturally used for defense as opposed to offense. Their body is covered in heavy armor that allows them to survive a lot of injury before collapsing.

Dietary habits[]

Considering the other known life indigenous to the region, as well as the sizes of said species, it can be speculated that Bagnadragnas consume three types of creatures: the icthyoid Bloatfloats, the avian Needlekisses, and the fungal Search Caps. Cokatolis are likely too large and dangerous for them to take down and the two are presumed to predate upon the same creatures. Although Bombs do exist in the area, these are not natural and were instead magically created during the devastating Mage Wars. They are also far too dangerous to attempt to feast upon, being capable of self destruction.
